How to Use
the Visualizer
Design custom sequin installations from start to quote — upload artwork, paint sequin areas, and export a detailed PDF in minutes.
Start the GuideNavigate to the SolaRay Visualizer
On the Radiant Manufacturing website, hover over SOLARAY in the top navigation and click SolaRay Visualizer.

Enter Your Contact Info
Fill in your Full Name and Email. Phone is optional. Click Verify & Start Designing — the tool verifies you're human and proceeds automatically when fields are filled.
Upload Your Artwork
Click the upload area and select your artwork file. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, PDF. Maximum file size is 150 MB.
Higher resolution = more accurate sequin placement. Vector PDFs are ideal for crisp edges.
Crop Your Image
Drag the corner handles to resize the crop box. Drag inside the box to reposition it. Click Apply to confirm, or Skip to use the full image.
Set Dimensions & Scale
Enter the Width and Height of your finished installation in feet. If working from a scaled drawing, enter the scale denominator in Artwork Scale (e.g. enter 24 for a 1:24 scale drawing). Leave as 1 for full-size artwork. Click Continue.
Example: 128'×48' sign drawn at 1:24 scale — enter 128 × 48 ft and scale 24.
Open Tools & Settings
In the editor sidebar, click TOOLS & SETTINGS to expand the painting toolbar. You'll see all available tools for painting and editing.
Choose Your Painting Tool
Select the right tool for your task:
Smart Fill is the fastest tool for solid-color areas like letters and logos — one click fills the entire matching area.
Adjust Brush Size & Zoom
Use the Brush Size slider to control the brush radius. Use the Zoom slider to zoom in for precision work. Use the Shrink / Smooth / Expand buttons to refine painted edges.
Select Sequin Shape & Size
Open SEQUIN APPEARANCE and choose your sequin type:
1.5" = 49 sequins per 12"×12" panel. 0.75" = 196 sequins per panel. Smaller sequins give finer detail on intricate designs.
Choose Sequin Color
Select a stock color, or choose Match Image to reflect your artwork's colors. You can paint different areas with different colors — switch colors between strokes and each area keeps its assigned color independently.
Paint Your Sequin Areas
Click and drag on the canvas to paint sequin areas. The live preview shows animated sparkles as you paint. To undo, use Erase over any area. To start completely fresh, click Clear All.
For best results: use Smart Fill on solid-color regions, then Brush to fine-tune edges.
Use the 12"×12" Panel Grid
Open DESIGN SETTINGS and enable Show 12"×12" Grid. Grid boxes appear only where at least one complete sequin fits. Use Shift Grid to reposition individual panels — or Shift+click multiple panels then drag to move them together.
Open the Export Panel
Click EXPORT in the sidebar. Three export options are available:
Download the Coverage PDF
Click PDF to generate a Sequin Coverage Summary. The PDF includes your design image, total coverage area and panel count, sequin size and count, and a per-color breakdown table with sq ft, panels, and sequin count for each color.
Email the PDF to sales@radiantmfg.com to receive a quote within 24 hours.
Upload Artwork & Place Order
When you're ready to order, click Upload Artwork & Place Order to go directly to the Radiant Manufacturing upload portal and submit your production-ready files.
